Safes & VaultsSales, Service & Repair
Interstate Security maintains a walk-in safe showroom inside our 2,500 square foot facility on State Street. We carry gun safes, fire safes, and a selection of antique safes in small, medium, and large sizes. Our team also handles safe opening, repair, and combination changes for customers throughout the Erie area.
See Your Safe Before You Buy
Our showroom lets you compare sizes, features, and fire ratings in person.
Buying a safe is a significant investment, and photographs on a website can only tell you so much about build quality, interior layout, and overall size. That is why Interstate Security dedicates a large portion of our 2,500 square foot shop to a walk-in safe showroom where customers can open the doors, test the locking mechanisms, and get a real sense of what they are purchasing before any money changes hands.
We stock safes from trusted manufacturers including Gardall and Sargent. Whether you need a compact fire safe for important documents, a full-size gun safe for your firearm collection, or a heavy-duty commercial vault, our staff will walk you through the options and help you find the right fit for your security needs and your available space.

Our Safe Services
From new safe sales to opening a safe you have been locked out of, we cover every aspect of safe work.
Safe Sales
Browse our showroom to find the right safe for your home or business. We carry gun safes built with thick steel walls and pry-resistant doors, fire safes rated for document and media protection, and general-purpose security safes in a range of sizes. Our staff will help you compare fire ratings, lock types, and interior configurations so you leave with exactly what you need.
Safe Opening
Lost the combination to your safe? Misplaced the key? Inherited a locked safe from a family member? Our technicians use professional methods to open safes without destroying the unit whenever possible. We work on residential safes, commercial vaults, and antique models that require careful handling to preserve their value.
Safe Repair
Safes are built to last for decades, but the locking mechanisms, hinges, and bolt work can wear over time. We repair stuck bolts, worn dial mechanisms, damaged relocker systems, and malfunctioning electronic keypads. If your safe is not operating the way it should, bring it in or give us a call and we will figure out what it needs.
Combination Changes
Changing your safe combination regularly is one of the simplest ways to maintain security, especially after employee turnover, a move, or any time an unauthorized person may have learned your code. We change combinations on mechanical dial locks and electronic keypad safes quickly and accurately.
Antique Safes
We carry a rotating selection of antique safes in small, medium, and large sizes. These vintage units make striking conversation pieces in a home or office while still providing functional security for valuables. Many of our antique safes have been restored to working condition with operational combination locks. Stop by the showroom to see what is currently available, as inventory changes frequently.
